Create inspired dishes with flair from the best of fresh seasonal produce. You’ll eat the dishes you prepare away from the hot midday sun in the cool grotto, all carefully paired with plenty of the best of local wines.
When we are home for the evening enjoy the town’s main piazza to make lasting friendships that will make you want to return year after year.
You’ll be hosted in the town’s boutique B&B and local Chef Ezio and friends, all fluent English speakers will provide plenty of relaxed hands-on learning of Italian cookery in the professional kitchen that can accommodate up to groups of 10.
Italy’s Abruzzo region is perhaps its most diverse and local cooks will reveal over intimate Italian cooking workshops an insight into local recipes that reflect their pastoral and cucina povera heritage ready for you to try at home.
Each weekday you will take a fun excursion that combines food with a cultural insight to magical Abruzzo where Central Italy meets the South and the mountains meet the sea.
Highlights include the Trabocchi on the Adriatic sea and hunting truffles with the dog in Roccascalegna, then eating the delicious pasta made with the fresh truffles. I’m now planning my next visit during the summer of 2017 to include my daughter and son-in-law. I’ve also impressed a number of friends with some of the dishes I’ve learned to make.”
